Wardrobe. Choose an outfit that reflects a polished and professional style within the industry you belong to. While trending fashion aesthetics work great for social purposes, we recommend simpler styling for a business portrait. A plain shirt, button-down or otherwise, works well and a jacket is a good complementing piece. Colors like cream, taupe, or cappuccino can look flattering, and if you need a neutral piece, you can wear navy, gray or white. Skincare. Few things do better than essential grooming. Wash your face thoroughly and apply moisturizer the night before if you have dry skin. While it’s no secret that sleep is good for you, try to have as much as you can some days leading up to your session. Mindful application of makeup should also be considered.
